Sherlock is a very recent series from the BBC which relates the adventures of the famous detective, Sherlock Holmes, and his friend, Dr. Watson. But this is not a series like others about Sherlock, because it takes place in the 21th century, so this is a modern Sherlock. Sherlock Holmes has a very special job: he is a consultant detective, so people go to him to solve their problems. He has a brother, Mycroft, who works in the secret service. His principal assistant is Dr. Waston, his only friend , a former army doctor. Sherlock lives in 221 Baker Street, with Mrs. Hudson, his governess. And his best ennemy is Jim Moriarty, who has a job similar to Sherlock's: consultant criminal.
For the moment, there are two seasons, which contain 6 episodes, in French or in English. But it is silly to watch this series in French. All the episodes are very good, and I have no particular favorite. Sherlock is a very interesting character, but it is disappointing that the people who made this series don't represent the character in all his aspects (the addiction to opium for example ).
In conclusion, I think that this is a fantastic series, very funny, and which represents Sherlock Holmes with novelty, so watch it!

As for me, I love this artist. I enjoy her soul voice and her melodies which don’t leave your head. I think she will be a widely famous singer in a few years' time. Her lyrics affect me because they are profound like in the song Born to Die.

In 1922, her father got her to live the life of a small traveling circus artist and then a miserable street life as an artist. It is singing popular songs in the streets with her father that revealed Edith's talent and her exceptional voice
In 1930 she left her father and sang a duet on the street with Simone Bertaut, who became her friend, the sister of her heart.
In 1935, she was discovered in the street by Louis Leplee, manager of a cabaret who named her "the kid sparrow". Later discovered by composers such as Raymond, she was the source of many successful songs that have become classics of French repertoire: la Vie en Rose, Je ne Regrette Rien, l'Hymne à l'Amour, Milord, Mon Dieu, l'Accordéoniste, Mon Légionnaire.

52 Awards and 47 nominations in festivals, a great reward to the director, Michel Hazanavicius! The Artist is THE movie of the moment. A silent black and white movie in the 21st century : An idea so old and so brillant! The rythm is created by the catchy music, but this movie is also very touching! Jean Dujardin is the masculine revelation of the year (One Frenchy, One!) and our French "Loulou" has reasons to be proud. Personaly, I really enjoyed The Artist because there is a historical aspect (the replacement of the silents movies by the talking movies) and a lovely romance. I know that it's not usual for teenagers to watch this kind of movie, but it's worth it. Enjoy!
Predictions is a film directed by Alex Proyas in 2009 and starring the famous actor Nicolas Cage.
This is story about John Koestler, a Statistician.
One day, his son comes back from school after a ceremony concerning a Time capsule which was discovered and dug up. Inside it, there are a lot of messages, every child comes back home with one of them. So, Caleb, his son has a message. Contrary to other children, his message is illegible, it is a succession of numbers. John begins to decipher it. Progressively, we discover that these numbers predict the future and particularly tragic disasters. The message contains the precise dates, the numbers of people who will die and the location with numbers corresponding to longitude and latitude. John quickly becomes haunted by these tragedies and wants to watch each of them to verify the predictions. At the end of the paper, he sees two letters E. And he understands that it predicts the apocalypse, the end of the world. John engages in a race against time.
I find this movie so exciting, I couldn’t stop watching it. It is very subtle and fascinating. Moreover, the characters are very mysterious and they are full of secrets. I only watched it once, and I can't wait to see it again.
So, it just goes to show!

Imaginaerum is the 7th album of Nightwish, a Finnish symphonic metal band. This album was issued on the 5 December 2011 in France, and it ranked 33rd in album sales in France and 1 in Finland. This album tells the story of an old man who lives In his dreams. Under the appearance of a child, he travels in a world which mixes his memory and an imaginary landscape of his invention.
Nightwish continuously mixes the styles: on this album you hear symphonic metal songs, others which are mostly folk, some a little jazzy and others are clearly inspired by the world of Tim Burton.
